THE ORGANIZATON FOSTERS INDIVIDUAL STUDENT-ATHLETE GROWTH THROUGH MENTORING, TUTORING, COACHING, AND CONDITIONING THROUGH THE SUPPORT OF ATHLETIC AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS AND ACADEMIC SUPPORT PROGRAMS. ON THE FIELD, THE PROGRAM STRIVES TO IMPROVE THE -ATHLETE EXPERIENCE THROUGH ACADEMIC COACHING AND MENTORING, HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAMMING, AND POST-SECONDARY SUPPORT. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES TO THE SCHOOL COACHING STAFF TO ENSURE THEY ARE PROPERLY TRAINED IN BOTH THEIR SPORT AND MORE IMPORTANTLY IN THE PHILOSOPHY THAT A COACH IS A MENTOR. IN THE CLASSROOM, THE PROGRAM STRIVES TO IMPROVE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE AND POSITIVE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT THROUGH MENTORING, TUTORING, AND POST-SECONDARY PLANNING.
